Scope
This privacy policy applies to the following apps developed and published by Bursa-basedLeranis Teknoloji:
When we publish a new app it is added to this list and the same principles apply to it. For privacy information about our company website, see ourwebsite privacy policy.
Data we collect
We collect only the data the app needs in order to work. Not every category below applies to every app; what is collected depends on the app you use and the features you enable.
Account information
When you sign in with your Apple or Google account, we receive your name, email address and, if available, your profile photo. If you choose to hide your email when signing in with Apple, we only receive the relay address generated by Apple; we never see your real email address.
App usage data
Progress records needed for the app to function: completed chapters, quiz results, daily streaks, league rankings or habit check-ins. This data is stored linked to your account and ensures your progress is preserved when you change devices.
Subscription status
If you have a Premium subscription, we keep a record of whether the subscription is active. Payments are handled entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play; your card details, billing address and payment information never reach us.
Notification permission and device token
If you allow notifications, a notification token for your device is stored so that notifications can be delivered to it. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Technical and diagnostic data
If the app closes unexpectedly, technical information such as the crash report, device model and operating system version is collected to help find the cause of the error. These records do not contain your personal usage content.
Social features (Leranis Habits only)
If you use the add-friend feature, your invite code, the friend connections you have accepted and the status of the shared habits you choose to share are stored. Your friends only see completion information for the habits you have agreed to track together.
Data we do not collect
Our apps under no circumstances access or collect the following data:
- Location data
- Contacts
- Camera and microphone recordings
- Health and fitness data
- Advertising ID or ad tracking
- Payment and card details
Our apps contain no advertising and no ad tracking. We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it to third parties and do not share it for marketing purposes.
Purpose of use and legal basis
We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:
- Creating your account, verifying your sign-in and managing your account
- Saving your progress and keeping it in sync across devices
- Verifying the validity of your premium subscription
- Sending notifications, if you have allowed them
- Detecting errors and improving the app's stability
- Fulfilling our legal obligations
Under KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), our legal bases for processing are the establishment and performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Consent-based operations such as sending notifications rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. For details, see our KVKK Privacy Notice.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the following providers whose services the app relies on, and only to the extent the service requires:
These providers' servers may be located outside Türkiye, so your data may be processed abroad. Transfers take place solely to provide the service and within the provider's own data protection commitments. Data may also be shared with competent public authorities where legally required.
Retention period
Your account and progress data are kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, this data is permanently erased within 30 days. Crash and diagnostic logs are kept for at most 90 days. Records subject to a statutory retention obligation (for example invoice records held by Apple/Google) are kept for the period required by the applicable legislation.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
- Request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
- Request erasure or destruction of the data
- Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing
To delete your account and data, follow the steps on ourAccount Deletion page; for other requests, write to[email protected]. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.
Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from this age group. If we become aware that data belonging to a child under 13 has been collected, we delete the record immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and notice such a case, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When a significant change is made, the update date at the top of the page changes; for substantial changes we also notify you within the app.
